WHEN TWO WORLDS COLLIDE

Belgrade, February 23rd (Tanyug) – “Recent events in Kosovo are only the results of a plan made in Washington, actually realized by “NATO fascists”, to end the yearlong Yugoslavian drama”, said Colonel Leonid Ivashov, president of the Russian academy for geopolitical issues.

“The region is divided into small, easy to control ‘cantons’. All NATO had to do next is to enslave and humiliate the Serbs by taking their Holy land away from them. The ultimate goal of the USA and NATO is to make slaves out of Serbs, just like they did before with Slovenians, Croats, Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonians, and Montenegrins. They should all act like some sort of bio-robots, acting on every command coming from the West”, said the former Russian prime military diplomat for “Novosti”.

His opinion is that the recognition of a unilateral proclamation of Kosovo’s independence “will create an atmosphere for new ‘European talibans’ and their radical Al-Qaeda cells to emerge.” “A new tendency in Europe will start - a tendency of uniting between Islamic countries in the Balkans and forming of an Islamic spiritually-ideological landscape on European territory: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Muslim regions in Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, and also in Germany, France, Great Britain and Belgium”, Ivashov said.

According to his words, “at this moment, there is no country which could defeat the NATO fascists single-handedly, and it is the final moment for those who do not wish to be crushed by Washington’s boots to unite.” “Behind this local Serbian-Albanian conflict lays the conflict of civilizations. Had Nikolic won the elections in Serbia, the supporters of Kosovo’s independence would have their argument.”

“Then, they would isolate Serbia, tying to prove that Serbs made the wrong choice. Now, if one day they actually offer Serbia EU membership, one question presents itself: what to do with the Serbian Constitution, which clearly states that Kosovo and Metohija is a part of Serbia?”, said Ivashov, and then added: “I am convinced that a condition will be made for Belgrade to drop this sentence about Kosovo out of their Constitution.”

“Serbs are being cornered by the super-forces.” There is nothing left for them to do, but to “struggle fiercely and consistently, until Europe sees that it has walked self-willingly into a historical and geopolitical trap, all because of its stupidity, cowardice and lack of strong will. Our brothers Serbs must keep their spirit, pride and hopes high. Russia is gaining strength, Byelorussia stands firmly in the front lines, the Bulgarians are opening their eyes, and America’s reign is about to end soon. America is not just stricken by the crisis in its economy, but by something much worse: they are rapidly losing credibility!”

“Well known geo-politicians are predicting an escalation of the conflict between the Islamic and the Atlantic civilizations. In the end, those with stronger spirits and who are prepared for sacrifices will triumph. That is why, no matter what, I am convinced that Serbs, with their great pride and spirit, will be victorious!”
