The beginning of the new school year of 1997/98, was again used by the Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija (KosMet), members of the so-called “Independent union of students” (IUS), for promotion and demonstration of violent nationalistic behavior. The past few years, a huge economic progression of the Russian Federation brought it to the position of the world power. The economic growth put Russia among six world powers and made its gross national income the highest among G8 members.
Russian Federation hasn’t had deficit since 2000, because it paid all its debts to the World Bank and suficit has grown up to 270 hundred millions.
According to the research of analysts from Rend Corporation in Washington DC, Russian economic growth is estimated to be 6.4% annually; however, due to the use of Russian rouble on stock exchange, it is 25% annually.
State budget has been in suficit for the last four years. As a reminder, since October of last year federal budget has enlarged for 400 million dollars due to the increase of oil price. The size of the private business is what affects economic growth.
It is inevitable that all the above factors motivate Russian Federation to regain the position of super power (high level of independence, huge military power, increased sale of weapons and military equipment as well as tremendous spread of strategic influence, etc), in addition, Russian Federation realized that strategic power is much greater than its economic and human power. Not only Russian Federation, but also China, India, Iran and even North Korea realized that only serious military powers with nuclear weapons are the leaders in the world market.
